A 3 Day Detox Diet to Start Any Weight Loss Program

For a quick way to clean out your body without committing to a long term diet, try a 3 day detox diet!. Diet plans lasting for more than a few days are awfully hard to follow. However, if you know that you have got just three days to stick with it, it becomes a pleasure and not a difficult task.

In fact, the overall 3 day detox plan is very uncomplicated and very easy to complete. You can find several varieties of this diet plan and it will be up to you to choose the one that fits your tastes and lifestyle.

Day 1

Begin day one by liberating your system from all the built up toxins. Begin by drinking water in the morning and continue to do so all day. You can drink fruit juice, but only if it is 100% fresh without added sugars! Your breakfast should consist of a wholegrain cereal and fruit; for lunch, have a fresh salad and vegetables; veggie soup will be great for dinner and needs to be eaten no later than 6:00 p.m. Even though salad and fruits are permitted on day 1, the important thing should be to get plenty of water and veggies. They are fantastic eliminators of waste and other toxins in the body. It’s also important for you to exercise. A 30-minute brisk walk will do just fine during your 3 day detox.

Day 2

You are in day 2 of the detox plan. You shouldn’t turn back now, it’s essential for you to continue drinking lots of water. Obviously, during your 3 day detox, you shouldn’t consume coffee, tea, soda, junk food, and so on. This is what contributed to the toxins in your system in the first place.

On day 2, you should have fresh fruit and drink water for breakfast. A good, fresh green salad is great for lunch and for dinner, try some steamed vegetables. After being on this enormously healthy diet for just two days, you will feel great, your skin are going to be cleared and that bloated sensation around your tummy will disappear!

Day 3

This is the last day of your detox.  Continue to have lots of water and eat plenty of fruits. You might feel a bit hungry, but don’t stop now! Your system is finally freeing itself of all those accumulated toxins and waste. Stay with it and don’t exert much energy today. If you eat vegetables for dinner, you will not have cravings during the night.

The 3 day detox diet may look scanty, but it’s just for three days. Remember, the whole idea is to cleanse your system. By avoiding foods with chemical compounds or other unnatural ingredients, you’re providing your body a totally natural diet, the way it was intended to be.

I also find that drinking a teaspoon of alkalizing powder in filtered water is helpful for detoxing the system.
