3 Day-Detox: Get rid of the Toxins in your body A 3 Day-Detox is a fast and relatively easy way to cleanse the body of toxins, as well as helping to increase cell renewal and help rejuvenate the body’s natural immune system. Toxins are a by-product of the world we live in.  Given our lifestyle and environmental issues, it’s pretty much impossible to avoid accumulating chemicals, additives, and an assortment of other toxins in our system.

There are many ingredients in our food that we can’t even pronounce – let alone understand what they are or their effect on the body. A good example is hydrogenated oils which is in most of the foods you eat. These oils are made by infusing oil with hydrogen to create a solid.  Your body accumulates these and it often ends up as bad weight.  Just think of all the things we take into our system just by breathing.  Even things we consider pretty harmless in moderation, such as coffee and alcohol, contribute to the problem over time.  When allowed to accumulate toxins can release chemicals that gradually mutate in the body and can become cancer cells or other degenerative diseases.

A 3 Day-Detox diet is a safe and effective way of helping your body begin to rid itself of these harmful impurities.  Fortunately our bodies are amazing machines that, with a little help, can purge itself of dangerous and unwanted toxins.  This kind of detox program is designed to help the body cleanse itself naturally.  It will be a challenge but you don’t have to starve yourself and you won’t be hungry if you follow the plan properly. There will, of course, be some cravings for things your system has gotten used to – such as coffee, sugars, and the ever present junk foods.

The good news is that it’s not a hard to follow..long term commitment….give up everything you love in life diet.  It lasts 3 days…and you will feel and look better. A healthier long term lifestyle including a healthy diet, reasonable exercise, and strong personal relationships is truly the best way to insure continued well being and happiness.  Many people are so encouraged by the results of 3 Day-Detox that they do begin to make lifestyle changes that lead them to enjoy a healthier and more balanced lifestyle in the long term – and that’s great!  But even if you do the program only once in each month or two….you will see and feel the difference.

One thing I would like to add is that it is possible – depending on your previous diet – to go into what is known as a healing crisis. This makes some people get scarred as they think something is wrong but what is actually happening is that toxins that have been stored in the fat are released into the bloodstream and the liver is being stressed. As such, besides the fast there is a requirement for a detoxification agent – something that helps the liver by easing the burden of the detoxification.
